Today we are going to show you how to program the Honeywell 5834-2 2 button wireless key transmitter into the LYNX Touch L7000 wireless security system. To start we are going to hit the security button, than in the bottom left of the screen select more followed by the tools button. Once you select tools you will be prompted to enter a code. You wont want to use a master or user code. Here you will want to enter your installer code which by default is 4112. So go ahead and enter that code once it is entered you will see a screen prompt up. From this menu you will be selecting the program button which will get you into programming. From programming select keys because we are working with a keyfob. As of right now we dont have anything programmed so go ahead and select add new. This page will have an area to select how many buttons your keyfob has. For this case we are using the 5834-2 so click the button until you see 2 button. To the left of the key type button you want to click the user box so we can assign a user for these purposes we will select master. Now you are going to want to learn in the key fobs serial number. So select serial number from this page you will be pressing the actual button on the key fob. We like to use button 1 which is located in the top left of your key fob. Just as a heads up we will be pressing the disarm button in the intervals. Go ahead an press the button once the system will beep to acknoledge. The second time you press the disarm button it will produce the loop number and serial number verify that these are both correct and make sure to use your 5834-2 installer guide that comes inside the Honeywell box. Once these have been verified press the button once more time to seal this information into your panel. Go through the menu and make sure you have the key fob programmed the way you would like. If the information is all correct select save and back out to the home screen. Test your key fobs button to ensure proper programming and as you can see ours works so we are all set.
